It’s Time To Skate For Change

posted by Hometown Heroes on March 06, 2012

Skate For Change

Skateboarders have always been some of the more generous people out there. For the most part, when we’re standing on a skateboard, we’re happy. We have a positive outlook on life and dig helping each other out.

Mike Smith of Nebraska is one dude who is taking those good vibes even further. The founder of non-profit skatepark, Bay198, has a new project already underway. It’s called Skate For Change.

The idea of Skate For Change is to help out the homeless by skating around and providing them essentials like clothes and food.

Check out the video for more.

Well done dudes!
