Skateboarders have always been some of the more generous people out there. For the most part, when we’re standing on a skateboard, we’re happy. We have a positive outlook on life and dig helping each other out.
Mike Smith of Nebraska is one dude who is taking those good vibes even further. The founder of non-profit skatepark, Bay198, has a new project already underway. It’s called Skate For Change.
The idea of Skate For Change is to help out the homeless by skating around and providing them essentials like clothes and food.
Piro Sierra is easily one of the most fun dudes to watch skate. This usually means going fast, flowing lines and generally not giving a damn. By now, you should have seen those Slap Mag x NYC edits.
There’s a feeling of old Transworld videos in this clip. Perhaps it’s the East Coast skating or the music but this edit by Matt Steindl is filled with familiar faces and great skateboarding.
